Tarot

Tarot has been a means of divination for hundreds of years.

The most recognisable Tarot deck used today was created in 1910 by Arthur Edward Waite and drawn by Pamela Coleman-Smith.

There are 78 cards in a full pack of cards which is split into 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana are further split into suits known as Cups, Pentacles, Swords and Wands.

When a person of the general public requests a reading they are known as a Querent.

The Tarot reader uses his or her psychic ability to enable a link with the energy of the cards which have been shuffled by the Querent as they think of their issue they have presented to the reader.

Each of the 78 cards have a particular meaning and that meaning changes when the cards are reversed or turned upside down.

To enable a person to become a great Tarot Reader it takes time, dedication, hard work.
